Computer Lab Sales Pitch

You've probably read a lot already about the internet being cruel and tempermental here in the Abbey. Fear not! I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned, but you have a fabulous resource right at your fingertips! It's called "public computers." I know, scary thought, but wait! The computers here in the Abbey computer lab, located on the scenic second floor next to Classroom 1 are equipped with, yes, computers. And these computers aren't just hunks of plastic, no, these computers have internet! Yes, precious, delicious, golden internet! in the form of Internet Explorer!

Not only that, but you know how you didn't get a French phone and you really miss your mom? Not to fear! The computer lab can remedy this as well, for the computers in the lab are all equipped with Skype! It's free! Borrow a cam and some headphones and bring 'em on down to the lab and you've got a quiet evening at home with your parents.

What about that mega death paper you have to write. You know your trial of Microsoft Office ran out a month ago! Your roommate's conveniently taken his/her computer and disappeared from the face of the Earth, not to return for 3-4 hours, despite the fact it's his/her computer you've been using this whole time. What are you gonna do? Cry? No! Use the lab! But how, you're asking yourself. Wouldn't you know it, the lab has Microsoft Word! 2007 version! That's a good version!


Now, I don't know how you managed to get a roommate that's both a his and a her at the same time, as I've made it seem from using his/her twice in the last paragraph, but what I do know is the computer lab is great. Give it a try, it'll keep you coming back.
