Le Who, Fat Tire and Monet

What to do on your last weekend in Europe?

How about spending it in Paris.

The first day in Paris we got into town just in time to do a little shopping on our favorite stop Chatelet. Chatelet has the three story H&M I love as well as my other two favorite shops in Paris "Zara's" and "Mango." For future Abbey Students if your looking for a good street to shop, Chatelet is it! After some shopping we made our way to our Hostel "St. Christophers" just in time to check in and head to our favorite bar in Paris "Le Who" before happy hour ended. It is important if you plan to go out in Paris to get there before happy hour ends it will save you some Euro's and the drink you love will only cost half the price.

Before a group of friends and I came to Paris we booked a tour with Fat Tire Bike Tours of Monet's Garden. This was something we were really excited about. The Tour consisted of riding bike's through Monet's Town.

Our first stop on the Tour was at a outdoors Fresh Market that consisted of fruits, vegtables, an assortment of meats, morrocain cuisine, clothes and a number of miscellaneous items. After we stopped at the Market we biked to a picnic area where we sat in a circle, had lunched and passed around different kinds of food we had picked up.

After we had lunch we biked on a long path to Monet's home and his beautiful gardens.

Monet has some of the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen, some I was seeing for the first time. The way the flowers are organized and mixed together was indescrible. The lily pad garden was just as beautiful. It was one of those moments where you just stop, take in the beauty and appreciate what people were passionate about before you.

It was a really awesome last weekend in Europe one I will never forget.
